Step 1: Click on "SAVE" after making the settings changes.
Step 2: Click on the "CHANGES" button located at the top portion of the graphical user interface (GUI) which will take users to a list of the settings changes.
Step 3: Click on the "APPLY" button to save the settings.
Or you can simply click the "Apply" on the popup window in the bottom right-hand corner.
Before enabling the Wi-Fi scheduler, ensure the Time Zone Settings is synced with your local time. It is necessary for the Wi-Fi scheduler to function properly.
Step 1: Go to the WiFi Scheduler under Management.
Step 2: Enable the Status of Wi-Fi Scheduler.
Step 3: Select the SSID that you want to schedule for connection.
Step 4: Choose a template form Schedule Templates (e.g., Always available, or Available 8-17 daily except weekends etc).
Step 5: Click on the "Save" and than "Apply."
You can also set your own schedule by selecting Customer schedule, choosing available or unavailable for the day, and the duration as well.
Before enabling the Auto Reboot, set the time setting to “Automatically get Date and Time” from an NTP server. Make sure that the time setting is working since it is necessary for the Auto Reboot to function properly.
Step 1: Go to the WiFi Scheduler under Management.
Step 2: Enable the Auto Reboot function.
Step 3: Set AP to reboot on particular days of the week or every day.
Step 4: Set the time of the day on the hour and minute in a 24-hour format for the hour and minute.
The Client Limit feature is only available when AP is in Access Point or WDS Access Point mode. You can set the client limit in "Wireless" under "Network." By default, the client limit is enabled and allows 127 clients for each radio.
Step 1: Login to AP in stand mode.
Step 2: Go to "Management" >> "Advanced" and scroll down the page to the HTTPS Settings.
Step 3: Enable the Status and HTTPS Forward.
The Backup/Restore Settings function is under “System Manager” >> “Firmware” >> “Backup/Restore Settings.” This function allows you to save the current device configurations. When you save your configurations, you also can reload the saved configurations into the device through the Restore Saved Settings from a file section.
In some circumstances, it may be required to reset the device to factory settings. Click on “Reset” then click on “Restore to Factory Defaults.”
The Reset to Default function is also available under “System Manager” >> “Firmware” >> “Backup/Restore Settings.”
Setting the approximate distance configures the signal sensitivity of an EnGenius outdoor AP, specifically the Layer 2 acknowledgement time-out period. Round to the nearest km. For example, if the distance between a master and a slave is 600 meters (1,968 ft), set to 1 km (0.6 mile). However, if the distance is less than 500 meters (1,640 ft), set to 0.
