If you have forgotten your router’s admin password, there is no way to recover the password. You can only hardware reset the router to its factory default and re-setup again.
Step 1: Check the LED status on the master node of the EnGenius Mesh router. Please check if the LED is White Solid. If the LED shown on the master node is Red blinking, it means the EnGenius Mesh router cannot access the Internet. Please check your Internet environment.
Step 2: Directly connect a computer to your modem to check if the computer can get Internet connection. If you are still not able to get an Internet connection, please contact your Internet service provider.
Step 3: Open the EnMesh app and go to the Parental Control page to check if the device is limited by a Parental Control rule.
Step 4: Go to the "Diagnosis" page in the EnMesh app to check the mesh quality and speed test result. You will get the following results:
Speed test between Internet and the master node.
Mesh quality: Green - Optimum range Purple - Too close Orange - Too far.
Mesh Speed test: Throughput between Mesh nodes to the Master node.
Step 5: Try to reboot the Master node and the Mesh nodes to refresh the EnGenius Mesh network. (Refer to How do I restart my EnGenius Mesh router?)
Step 6: Check the current firmware version in the EnMesh app and update it to the latest version.
There are 2 ways to reset the Mesh Router – a soft reset and a hard reset. Soft reset: Step 1: Open EnMesh app from your Android or iOS device.
Step 2: Tap on "Devices."
Step 3: Tap settings icon.
Step 4: Tap the "Factory Reset."
Hard reset: To hard reset your Mesh device, hold the reset button until the LED flashes red, and then release it. When the LED changes to orange blinking, you can then access the App install wizard to reinstall your Mesh devices.
Step 1: Open EnMesh app from your Android or iOS device.
Step 2: Tap on "Devices."
Step 3: Tap settings icon.
Step 4: Tap the "Restart Device."
