Safety and Regulatory Information

Safety and Regulatory Information

This section describes important safety and regulatory guidelines that must be observed by personnel installing or operating EOC655 Series equipment.

Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement

This equipment has passed tests confirming its compliance with the Class B digital device limits under FCC Rules Part 15. These standards aim to protect against harmful interference in residential settings. The device can emit radio frequency energy, which, if not properly installed and used, may lead to harmful interference with radio communications. While compliance reduces the risk of such interference, it cannot be completely ruled out.

Should this equipment cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, evident by powering the equipment off and on, users are encouraged to try resolving the issue through the following measures:

  1. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

  2. Increase the distance between the equipment and the receiver.

  3. Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

  4. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

This device adheres to FCC Rules Part 15, with its operation subjected to two conditions: (1) it must not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must tolerate any interference received, including interference that may disrupt operation.

Notice Regarding Equipment Usage

To ensure compliance and retain the authority to operate this equipment, users must avoid making any unauthorized changes or modifications. Additionally, this transmitter is designed for standalone use and should not be used in conjunction with, or in close proximity to, other antennas or transmitters.

FCC Radiation Exposure Compliance

This device adheres to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines for radiation exposure in uncontrolled environments. To ensure safety, maintain at least 250cm (about 8 feet 2 inches) distance between the device's radiation source and your body during operation.
