Introduction

This Quick Start Guide is designed to guide you through the installation of the Switch Extender 3GE 4 PoE 1SFP, model EXT1109P, including hardware mounting and configuration.

Extender 3GE 4 PoE 1SFP

3xGE, 4xGE PoE, 1xGE PD Switch Extender with 1 SFP Port

Model: EXT1109P

  • 4 x 1G PoE+ Ports to unleash elevated speeds for IP Camera, wireless AP or VoIP Phone

  • 1 x 1G PoE++ PD ports for PoE power input

  • 3x 1G Ports for high-speed connections

  • 1 x 1G SFP uplink ports for bandwidth-intensive applications

NOTICE:

To prevent abnormal PoE output from the Switch Extender, make sure to use a standard PoE power supply compliant with 802.3at or 802.3bt.

EXT1109P supports those PoE power supply methods

  • 65w Power adapter (selective purchasing)

  • 60w PoE adapter EPA5060GPT (selective purchasing)

  • 90w PoE adapter EPA5090GPT (selective purchasing)

We strongly recommend using EnGenius PoE adapters (EPA5060GPT, EPA5090GPT) and the power adapter. We are not responsible for any hardware abnormalities caused by power supply issues that are not related to the equipment mentioned above.

Power Input and Power Budget about EXT1109P

  • Power Input: 802.3at Type 2 (30W); Power Budget: up to 15W

  • Power Input: 802.3bt Type 3 (60W); Power Budget: up to 40W

  • Power Input: 802.3bt Type 4 (90W); Power Budget: up to 60W

Front Panel - Ports & Buttons

Reset to default: Press and hold for over 10 seconds, and all ports LED will go off and on. Then the device will be reset to factory default settings.
